Seth Rollins Comments On Speculation About Reuniting With Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have a common enemy in Cesaro.
That has led to speculation that the former Shield allies may soon reunite. Not only are they both feuding with The Swiss Superman, but Reigns and Rollins are among the top heels on SmackDown right now.
So in a lot of ways, it makes sense for the both of them to work together right now. But will it actually happen?
Recent comments from Rollins suggest both “yes” and “no.”
The subject of a potential reunion with Reigns came up during Rollins’ interview with Kayla Braxton on WWE’s The Bump (h/t Brie Coder of WrestlingInc.com).
Though The Architect acknowledged that he and Reigns see eye to eye, it doesn’t exactly mean that they’ll start working together.
“No, come on,” Rollins explained. “Roman and I, we don’t need to have a working relationship. You know our history. We don’t need to have a working relationship to be on the same page. We’re up here (raises his hand) and Cesaro’s down here (raises his hand lower). That’s just how it is. There’s no conversation that needs to be had between myself and Roman Reigns to dictate what’s going on when it comes to Cesaro.”
Rollins faced Cesaro at WrestleMania 37. There, the latter emerged victorious to pick up his first career singles match win at the “Show of Shows.”
Cesaro challenged Reigns for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania Backlash last week. Reigns managed to retain his title, and both Jey Uso and Rollins proceeded to attack Cesaro after the match.

It sounds like Cesaro’s spot in the main event scene may be ending, and that Rollins could actually be Reigns’ next challenger. If this ends up happening, we’ll likely see The Architect pull off a face turn.
But if Rollins doesn’t end up challenging Reigns for his title in the near future? Perhaps the two perennial main event stars will start working together.
Things Are Getting Interesting…
It’ll be exciting to see where WWE goes with both Reigns and Rollins over the long run here. Will they both continue to work separately as heels, or will they eventually team up? Will we get another Reigns vs. Rollins program? All of the possibilities are intriguing, and WWE can’t really go wrong with either choice.
