5 WWE couples split rumors that were untrue

In the past few years, many rumors have spread about the split of WWE couples. However, on occasion these speculations turn out to be false.

Many WWE Superstars have fallen in love with their colleagues in the past few years. Some superstars even end up getting married, like Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch and Montez Ford & Bianca Belair.

When there is a relationship between WWE Superstars, there are bound to be rumors surrounding the status of the relationship. Although some of the rumors of couples splitting turn out to be correct, such as Nikki Bella and John Cena’s breakup, other times the rumors are false. Despite rumors of their split, several WWE couples are still very much together.

Here are five WWE couples split rumors that were untrue.

#5. WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella and Bryan Danielson

Ahead of the return of Total Bella’s fifth season, some rumors spread suggesting that Brie Bella and her husband Bryan Danielson were getting divorced. Bella fueled the speculation as she admitted on the show that they were growing apart due to their busy schedules.

Despite this, the rumors of their divorce turned out to be false. Although they went through some hard times in their relationship, they are still together. The couple welcomed their second child in August 2020.

Bella recently posted a photo with her husband on her Instagram account as the couple celebrated Thanksgiving with their family. In the caption, she disclosed that she was grateful for Bryan as he made it just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. The former WWE Champion replied to his wife’s post with three blue heart emojis.

While Bella now runs her own business away from the squared circle, Danielson remains an in-ring competitor. The 40-year-old left WWE earlier this year after his contract expired. Last September, he joined All Elite Wrestling, making his surprise debut at All Out.

Danielson now has a chance to capture the AEW World Championship when he goes one-on-one against Adam Page for the title at Winter is Coming next Wednesday.

#4. WWE Superstar Natalya and Tyson Kidd

WWE Superstars Natalya and Tyson Kidd have been together for many years. The couple started dating two decades ago before tying the knot in June 2013. However, their relationship went through a rough patch nearly six years ago.

The couple appeared to have problems with each other on WWE’s reality show Total Divas. The third season even ended with Kidd leaving the house as the couple also consulted a divorce attorney. That sparked rumors that Natalya and Kidd had split.

However it turned out that these rumors were false. Natalya and Kidd later worked out their problems and remained together. A few years later, speculation about their breakup circulated once again because Kidd did not appear on Total Divas for a long time. However, the rumors were again untrue.

The couple recently celebrated Thanksgiving together as Natalya posted a photo with her husband on her Instagram account.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion is currently active on the Blue Brand. Her last match came on the November 26 episode when she teamed up with Shayna Baszler to face Naomi and Sasha Banks. Natalya and her partner lost the bout.

Meanwhile, Kidd retired from in-ring action six years ago due to injury. He currently works in WWE as a producer

#3. Former WWE Superstars Lana and Miro

Lana and Miro (FKA Rusev) were traveling together for WWE shows when they fell in love with each other. The couple dated for a few years before tying the knot in July 2016.

The two superstars also worked together on-screen. Lana played the part of Miro’s manager for several years in WWE. However, in late 2019, The Ravishing One started an on-screen romantic relationship with Bobby Lashley as The Almighty feuded with Miro. During the storyline, Lana split from her husband and married Lashley.

The controversial storyline sparked rumors that Lana and Miro might have split in real-life and not just on-screen. However, these speculations were false. The couple never split and are still married. They regularly post photos with each other on their Instagram accounts.

Both Miro and Lana have left WWE. The company released The Bulgarian Brute from his contract in April 2020 as part of budget cuts. A little over a year later, WWE also released Lana for the same reason.

Miro is currently an active competitor in AEW. Nonetheless, he has not competed since his defeat against Bryan Danielson last month at Full Gear. Meanwhile, Lana has been away from the squared circle since leaving WWE. She is now focusing on her acting career.

#2. WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and Tino Sabbatelli

Mandy Rose joined WWE after participating in the 2015 Tough Enough competition. At the time, she was in a relationship with Michael Lubic. The couple later announced their engagement but split a few months later.

God’s Greatest Creation has since kept her romantic life away from the public eye. Nonetheless, in 2018, Rose disclosed on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia that she was in a relationship with NXT star Tino Sabbatelli. The couple attended the 2018 Hall of Fame ceremony together.

Rose and Sabbatelli are very secretive about their relationship. They rarely post any photos together on social media or speak about each other. The lack of information about the couple led to the spread of many rumors suggesting they might have split.

Rose, however, recently squashed these rumors, posting a few videos with her boyfriend on her Instagram stories. Judging by these videos, the couple spent Thanksgiving together. They are also still very much in love with each other.

WWE released Sabbatelli from his contract last June. Meanwhile, his girlfriend remains in Vince McMahon’s company. She is currently the NXT Women’s Champion.

#1. WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo started dating in 2019. Nearly a year later, they announced their engagement. However, rumors circulated last month suggesting the two stars had broken up as they unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Several reports later confirmed the news, stating that multiple sources have indicated that the break-up did not appear to be mutual and that it was Charlotte who ended the relationship.

However, Andrade seemingly reacted to these rumors through an Instagram post.

“Hola! Good morning #mami F….. fake news!!” he wrote.

Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. has also confirmed that Flair and Andrade are still together. He posted a tweet refuting these rumors a few days after their reported split.

“I try not to post personal stuff, but the word I’ve gotten is that Charlotte Flair and Andrade are still very much together,” he wrote.

The Queen is active on SmackDown and is the Blue Brand’s Women’s Champion. Nonetheless, she recently lost to Toni Storm via disqualification on the latest episode of the weekly show.

Meanwhile, Andrade left WWE last March after requesting his release. A few months later, he joined AEW. He is currently an active competitor in Tony Khan’s company. The 32-year-old recently lost to Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight on AEW Dynamite.
